Before you book

The five essentials

Most delays trace back to one of these five items.

1. Measure and weigh

Record length, width, height and weight of every piece. Pricing and mode selection depend on them.

2. Pack for the journey

Cargo is lifted, stacked and transferred several times. Use sturdy outer boxes and proper cushioning.

3. Prepare documents

Commercial invoices, packing lists and ID where needed. International shipments cannot clear without them.

4. Check restrictions

Some goods cannot fly, sail or cross certain borders. Check before you pack, not after.

5. Label clearly

Full names, addresses and phone numbers for sender and receiver, placed on the top of each piece.

Choosing a service

Match the mode to the job

The fastest option is rarely the cheapest. Decide what matters most.

Urgent and high-value

Air freight or express parcels. Faster transit at a higher price per kilo.

Heavy, bulky or planned

Sea freight or road freight. Slower, but far more economical for volume.

Same-city or regional

Local delivery by bike, van or truck, often within a day.
